SoftBank 3G Prepaid Service with 705Px

SoftBank provides 3G Prepaid Service and there are 2 models in this service,705Px and 707SCⅡ.


I advise you to choose 707SCⅡ, NOT choose 705Px.


I have 705Px provided from my company for business hours but I don't use this model because this model is not easy to use. The user interface is not good.


Also this model has too many bugs. One of the bug is if you talk over 10 min, you will feel this mobile phone too hot.


I haven't tried to use 707SCⅡ so I could not say 707SCⅡ is good or not. But I can say 705Px is bad. I want to try to use 707SCⅡ if I have a chance.

SoftBank Prepaid 3G Mobile Phone

SoftBank Mobile has announced that they will continue the service of Prepaid 2G Mobile Phone but they will not accept the new application from 31st/Mar/2008 any more.


Also SoftBank Mobile will start the service of Prepaid 3G Mobile Phone from Feb/2008. SoftBank Mobile has not decided the detail of it's service include the service charge.


But SoftBank Mobile continues to keep the service of Prepaid Mobile Phone.

NTT DoCoMo doesn't provide the Prepaid mobile phone service.

But NTT DoCoMo provides the Roaming Servis in Japan. So if your mobile phone is match for this servis, you don't need to buy the prepaid mobile phone in Japan.

Any way, you should have a mobile phone, either business or sightseeing if you come to Japan.
